Eversince I registered with freewebs.com - a free web hosting provider, I've always wanted to get rid of the tracker code. But it was necessary to put it. I wouldn't have minded had it looked good. I decided to hACk it. After a minutes of thinking, an idea struck my mind… which was the beginning of apnerve's adhack™ (coz… it was invented by me).
Though the hack is simple… yet powerful. Here's what I did:
- Opened my freewebs index page in edit mode.
- found out the tracker code.
- Surrounded it with
<div style="DISPLAY:NONE;">and</div> - Thats all...the tracker ad is no more visible.
